Meet Jennifer Lundmark, U.S.M.C. — 2024 Veteran
Jennifer Lundmark was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and relocated to St. Agustine, Florida where she attended and graduated from St. Augustine High school. Upon graduation, Jennifer married and later divorced.
In February of 2001 at the age of 28, Lundmark enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and attended Parris Island, South Carolins for Basic Recruit Training and Marine Corp Martial Arts Training and obtained the level as a Tan Belt. After graduating Recruit Training, Lundmark attended Camp Geiger for Marine Corps Combat Training. Lundmark graduated June of 2001. Jennifer then attended and completed her MOS Administration Clerk Course located at Camp Lejeune Johnson school and became an Administration clerk.
Jennifer received orders to her first duty station at the 1st Radion Battalion, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii where she worked at Battalion level in continuous support of OIF/OEF along with Three Expeditionary Forces. While in Hawaii, she was assigned to the 1st Radion Battalion. Later, she did a lateral transfer to the 3rd Radion Battalion as the 1st Radion Battalion was relocated to Camp Pendleton.
While assigned at the 3rd Radio Battalion Jennifer married again. In November of 2004, Jennifer completed her military obligation and was honorably discharged. Her husband deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom to Afghanistan and Iraq was killed in action while in Iraq in 2006.
Jennifer currently is a single mom to Kalani and resides in Brandon, Fl. Jennifer was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
