Juan Carlos Solis was born in Houston, Texas where he was also raised. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 20, 2005 as an infantryman. His first duty assignment was the 1^st Battalion 7^th Marines Alpha Company in Twentynine Palms, California.

Mr. Solis is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran who has served three deployments in many locations throughout Iraq. Mr. Solis later in 2008 took on a second job skill as a Combat Marksmanship Trainer and Coach. Mr. Solis ended his time in service on June 19, 2009 with the rank of Corporal. Mr. Solis has received several different awards and certificates of appreciation during his time in service.

Mr. Solis is currently a disabled veteran who resides in the Houston area with his two children Javier and Juan Eduardo. Mr. Solis has dedicated his time and efforts to support the military and veteran communities which have impacted so many lives. Mr. Solis has been blessed by many different organizations and pushes to pay it forward to help others in need.
