Meet Michael Hansen, U.S. Army — 2022 Veteran
Michael Hansen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael enlisted in the Army as an Infantryman in 2010 and was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 15' Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Michael volunteered for Special Forces in 2011 and graduated the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant in 2014.
Michael then served as a Medical Sergeant in 3rd Battalion, 1 Special Forces Group (Airborne) until 2021. During his time in Special Forces, Michael deployed on multiple missions in support of operations throughout Southeast Asia, to locations including Thailand, South Korea, and Afghanistan.
Michael's military education includes the Special Operations Combat Medic Course, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE), Airborne School, Air Assault School, Special Operations Dive Medical Technician Course, Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course, U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Static Line Jumpmaster Course, and The Special Forces Senior Leaders Course.

Michael currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his son and is pursuing a degree at Arizona State University.
